Tarot - Gravity Of Light

Posted on 10:42 by Unknown

Tarot have been around a long time now and in the power metal genre have been dropping albums since 1986. I found them a few albums ago and liked them enough to pay attention. Their 2010 release is a good overall album but still the very Euro-Metal vocals which is always present in this genre detract from the songs. If the singer would just belt it out and leave the Maiden-isms off the end of his phrasing it would all be much better.

Still a decent record with a few standout metal tracks "Sleep In The Dark", "Pilot Of All Dreams" and "Caught In The Deadlights" and then some mediocre metal as in "Hell Knows".
