Donkeyboy - Silver Moon

Posted on 20:05 by Unknown
Electro-pop band Donkeyboy have returned with their second album which starts off a little slow with the title track and their first single release from Silver Moon. The songs improve once you get to track four "Get Up" that has a nice airy feeling that reminds me of Owl City. The group continues to improve on the next track which is good because I was about to toss this one. The bands second single "Pull Of The Eye" has a vocoder chorus that is reminiscent of Eiffel 65. But the song isn't as good as anything on that bands most successful record.

The big issue with this entire project is that it sounds like that it came from the 80's but the generic 80's. At times I hear Erasure and I'm not a big fan of them at all. So in the end this is not for me but might be for you and if you like electro-pop that pretty much sounds stale and dated here is your last supper.
