Adam Lambert - Glam Nation

Posted on 17:07 by Unknown

I like this kid and his stink on American Idol was excellent. His solo album on the other hand was pretty run of the mill. Now we have a live album for the label to milk his fans of more money. Is it worth it the honest answer is no it's not. The reason for my no answer is that he's only got one album and hasn't earned the right to have a live album in my opinion. His ability to sing live is already a gimme so this being anything but a cash grab is impossible.

On the intro to the second track he yells the word motherfucker which I find stupid considering his fans are pop kids under 18 mostly girls. This is not needed and being a professional entertainer its freaking time to realize that. I don't want to take my eleven year old daughter to his show if he's going to be cursing and saying things that my daughter doesn't need to hear at her age. I hope he can pull this part of the act together as he matures. Finally the title of Glam Nation is kind of a joke unless its to state his ability to wear make-up because one song (20th Century Boy) doesn't make his show musically glam. This album is a fail! Save your money it doesn't even sound that good for a live album even though he sings well.
