The new album and debut of a new lead singer has the Bloodbound crew all revved up and ready to rock. The album is pretty tight power metal with a good vocalist that has some seriously good chops but uses too much verbrato as he attempts to replicate the sonic sound of Bruce Dickenson or Michael Kiske circa 1989. Overall the music is excellent with a slight weakness shown only on the vocals of Patrik "Pata" Johansson. I have admit I can get past the initial annoyance to find great enjoyment of the album. This album could not be much stronger than it already is in the power metal genre.
